Last Goodbye storyline

As it is their last day together before they leave for University, three friends decide to have a goodbye party/sleepover. Alex decides to document their last day together on video camera (handheld shots).
The film starts as Alex leaves a nearby shop, as she walks out she bumps into someone that drops a necklace. Once Alex politely picks the necklace up for the person, they are suddenly no where to be seen. Although the situation seems rather odd to Alex, she decides to hold onto the necklace, in fear of it going to waste or if it was reported as missing. While staring at the necklace, a car horn beeps, making Alex jump. It turns out to be her friends, Becky and Charlie. In the car, the girls talk about how much they'll miss spending time together, laughing and reminiscing about past experiences.
Once they arrive at Becky's house, Charlie suggests they watch a horror film 'like old times'. They mess around attempting to scare each other. Charlie decides to go and get some more popcorn/drinks. Suddenly, the power goes off. Becky and Alex assume that it is Charlie messing around. However, it becomes clear that it is not Charlie, when both Becky and Alex go into the kitchen to see where she is. (Knife close up) Charlie is no where to be seen. They walk back to the living room, noticing the door connecting to the Garage is open. The two girls walk towards it shouting at Charlie to stop messing around. (Knife is no longer there). Loud bang. In a moment of terror, the two girls run. Becky heads for her car, but as cliche as it is, it will not start up (or she cant find her keys). The killer, walks up behind her and slits her throat (off camera).
Alex scurries into the nearest room and hides under her bed, still holding onto her camera. She holds her hand over her mouth to stop her from making any noise. Footsteps are heard outside the room, and then in the bedroom. Alex's phone then begins to ring, displaying 'Becky' as the caller. However, we are aware that she is dead. She attempts to knock off the call, however she answers it. The killer then murmurs something down the phone. Alex is then dragged from under the bed.
On the handycam, Becky and Charlie saying there 'goodbyes' and 'good lucks' are played.
